Yes this alto was originally purchased some years back by Mr David himself but amazingly enough while still out under a 24 hour approval period I came upon another 144K within 60 or so numbers of this one that was a bit more broken in and turned out to be the preferred one of the two, Yes true story! I have only owned two144K altos ever, both altos came into my possession within a three day stretch about seven years ago.
