The Sawpit newly improved road 58P is the fastest and easiest way to and from Telluride, however it does take a bit of getting use to, steep and curvy. If you have a 4 WD and are coming up the hill use H4 ,it really make the ride enjoyable. The distance from town to 58P is about 12 miles. Another way is from Highway 62.
